log4j.properties example
A tutorial about “log4j.properties” examples that are used in my project, just for sharing.
1. Output to File
All logging will be redirected to your specified log file.
log4j.properties
# Root logger option log4j.rootLogger=INFO, file # Direct log messages to a log file log4j.appender.file=org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender log4j.appender.file.File=C:\loging.txt log4j.appender.file.MaxFileSize=10MB log4j.appender.file.MaxBackupIndex=1 log4j.appender.file.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.file.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss} %-5p %c{1}:%L - %m%n
2. Output to Console
All logging will be redirected to your console.
log4j.properties

3. Output to Console and File
All logging will be redirected to both log file and console.
